UKHab & Biodiversity Net Gain

Using your survey notes, images and I will digitise all features in UKHab or BNG styles.

Digital Map Outputs

I will export your maps in JPEG or PDF formats for your reports using your logos, styling preferences, project details & colours.

Data & Calculations

Following digitisation I will export the areas & lengths of features into the metric calculators or a template you provide for you to make your assessment reports.

Pricing

Habitat mapping is difficult to price without seeing the site data, the size of site and number of habitats on the baseline/post-development plans. I've listed common site sizes below that include average site complexity (i.e. existing buildings & a mosaic of habitat types). The pricing is indicative to make it easier to budget your client work. I will provide quotes for all projects prior to commencement. For larger, or more complex sites please contact me to get a quote.

Example pricing for PEA, BNG baseline & post-development mapping

As each project is priced individually you can request mapping for any part such as a PEA, BNG baseline or post-development and the cost will reflect the level of work completed. Pricing a single swelling extension, a solar farm or large multi-phase development will depend on the complexity of the baseline and post-development information. E.g. a solar farm is normally a large site but simple in terms of complexity and will cost less than a similar size site with 100 dwellings being built.

All habitat mapping projects have minimum data requirements & assumptions built into them for pricing and these are provided ahead of project commencement. All prices include one round of revisions for minor changes to habitat (i.e. a digitisation error) or changes to key following feedback from you. Any changes to plans, site size or post-development I will price on a case-by-case basis. If Ordnance Survey MasterMap is used this data is not permitted to be shared.
