*Note: If you're booking for more than 4 people, would like an in-person course or would like a private course for your team please get in touch to discuss.
GIS can be complicated and god knows there’s a lot of technical terminology. My two day course focuses on jargon-free teaching to help you and your team develop your skills. Suitable for beginners, folks looking for more in-depth learning, and those of you migrating your GIS processes to open-source tech. To make it all a bit easier to digest, the two days are spaced out rather than back to back.
Places are limited to 4 delegates to ensure a high level of individual attention.
What this course covers:
- Getting started with QGIS, concepts & using the software

For this course you will need to have installed QGIS (minimum Version 3.34 LTR). This is free to use and download software available from https://www.qgis.org/en/site/.
Once you've booked your course you will receive a confirmation email detailing the course time and date. We will send you the course work booklets & sample data 3 days in advance of the course start date for you to set up and download. We recommend you have a second screen in order to see your work booklets and the QGIS software at the same time. Alternatively, you could print these off.
The course will be hosted on Zoom so you won’t need any new software to attend. This course will be delivered online using a combination of Zoom for video conferencing & screen sharing.
We recommend that you have access to a second display for your computer or something you can use to display course notes, QGIS, and video conferencing simultaneously.
