Over 2 days you'll learn the fundamentals of QGIS and how to create your own field data collection forms for ecological surveys. You'll create layers for Target notes, species records and we'll customise the Natural England BNG template to optimise for field use. We'll go through two field data collection apps (QFIELD & Mergin Maps) to show the differences for you to make a more informed choice of provider.
The workshop includes both classroom and outdoor elements in the grounds of Oakwell Hall. No need for paper or notes that can be blown away or damaged by the elements. No concerns about losing data. This course will help you get to grips with all things field data collection to make your surveys a hell of a lot easier.
