This total beginners 1 day course will show you the fundamentals when using geospatial software in a supportive and non-judgemental environment. Cut through all the jargon and learn the first steps of a new transferable skill. You will have an understanding of QGIS and uses a series of practical exercises to build confidence.

What you’ll need for this course:

To complete the course, you’ll need an installation of QGIS, please ensure it’s a minimum of version 3.34. QGIS is a free and open-source software you can download from https://www.qgis.org/download/.

The course will be hosted online via video conferencing software and I recommend you have a second screen to see your work booklets and the QGIS software at the same time. Alternatively, you could print these off but there are over 100 pages.

What happens after I book?

Once you've booked your course you will receive a confirmation email detailing the course time and date. I will send you the course work booklets & sample data 7 days in advance of the course start date for you to set up and download.
